Hotel Cedar - Jaffna

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, close enough to other places of interest, spotless clean, and the staff was superfriendly and responded promptly to requests.

The whole hotel was fairly clean and the staff was very amiable. Enjoyed staying at the a double room with all basic necessities covered. The whole experience was perfectly pleasant!

The location of this place is good, just a short walk to other interesting places, and it is very clean.

We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was exceptionally comfortable, had perfect location in the middle of jackson. The rooms were all brand-new and impeccably clean with all basic necessities covered. Location: the property was just off spotless clean, which is very very rare in Jaffna, the town centre and other places of interest, and railway station.

Convenient location, just a short distance away from a Hindu temple. 🙏

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect as it was close to the city centre and other places of interest. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange our transport to the train station for an early morning train ride. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and everything was well-maintained. We had no issues with the facilities and found them to be satisfactory. we felt this hotel provided us with great value for our money.

Spending Xmas at this budget hotel was a good choice. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and appreciated having both AC and a quiet fan in the room. The location was also ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to public transport and plenty of electrical outlets for charging our devices.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The dust in the area posed a problem and we had to ask the hotel staff to clean our room thoroughly.

I booked a room with a comfortable bed, climate control, television, and a writing desk.

The hotel is located close to the railway station and it's easy to reach by foot or tuk-tuk. the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We appreciated having hot water available and the staff member at the reception was friendly and helpful.

The language barrier made it hard to communicate with some of the staff members.

The hotel is situated in a great location, with many major attractions within walking distance. The staff members are friendly and very helpful. The hot water is available and the breakfast, although at an additional cost, was decent.

The service could be improved, as some guests were not informed about power cuts and were asked to pay in cash.

Super tidy, comfortable beds, friendly staff, convenient location, provided toiletries and towel, fridge available.

Nothing to dislike.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to easily walk to all the attractions and restaurants in the area. The hot water in the bathroom was a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing.

One specific situation that happened was the power cut. Although the hotel didn't inform us about it until just before it happened, they were quick to provide us with alternative solutions.
